Mrs Clark wants to go to the shops.
She is putting Jumper into the garden.
Jumper is Mrs Clark's dog. He is a big dog, but he is very friendly.
'What can I do in the garden with no-one to play with?' Jumper says.
He goes to his kennel. What can he do there? He can sleep and dream.
Jumper's eyes are closed. Is he dreaming? What is he dreaming about? Is he dreaming a game? Is he dreaming about a bone?
Can you name it? Look at its colourful wings. How many wings has it got?
Oh, my goodness! Where is the butterfly now and what is it doing? Jumper is sleeping. Does he know that the butterfly is sitting on the end of his nose?
Oh, dear! Jumper is awake now and he can see the butterfly on the end of his nose.
'What's that?' he says. 'What that on the end of my nose?'
Jumper jumps up up. The butterfly flies away. Jumper runs after it. He wants to catch it. He wants to play. 'Oh, this is fun!' he says. Can Jumper runs after it. He wants to play. 'Oh, this is fun!' he says. Can Jumper catch it?
The butterfly is flying around the garden. Jumper is running after it.
Look at jumper running and Jumping.
He is trying to catch the butterfly, and he is having a very good time.
Oh, no! What is Jumper doing? He is running and jumping on the flowers.
Look at the flowers! Does Jumper know what he is doing? Where is the butterfly?
The butterfly is flying above the flower pots on the ledge and Jumper is jumping at the butterfly. What is happening to the flower pots? They are failing to the ground.
Oh! Look now! The butterfly has a friend. They are flying above Jumper head. They are dancing together in the air. Jumper does not know what to do.
Look at Jumper! He is trying to catch both butterflies. He is running fast and jumping high into the air. He is a strong dog. Is he having a good time?
Oh, my goodness! Where are Jumper and the butterflies now? Jumper is splashing around in the fish pond. Oh! Happening to them?
Now where are they? What is Jumper doing to Mrs Clark's clean washing on the washing line? Look at her dresses and her husband's shirts. Are they clean now?
What is happening now? Jumper is on the garden table and he is trying to climb up the umbrella! It is falling over! Oh, no!
Oh, look there! A big, fat, black cat has got a fish and is running away with it!
What can Jumper do? Can he catch the cat and get the fish?
The clever cat is up the tree, and Jumper knows too.
Jumper sees the poor fish. He knows that they are dying out of the water. He is a clever dog and he tries to put them back into the pond.
Oh, gear! Who is this coming along the street with her shopping? Yes, it is Mrs Clark and she is coming home! She is happy now, but what about later?
'Oh, no! What a mess!' she cries.
'Jumper! Jumper, where are you?
Where is Jumper and what is he doing? Can you see him? And, where are the butterflies?
